Getting started

What is ULT, exactly?
One currency across 40+ brands in Egypt. You earn points at any partner brand and spend them at any other. Pay by scanning a QR — points pay first, your card covers the rest, and you earn ULT back on the money portion.
How do I sign up?
Download the app, drop in your number, we'll text a code, pick a handle, link a card. About two minutes, start to finish.
Does ULT charge me a fee?
No. ULT is free to use. You pay your bill; we never add to it.

Paying & points

How does paying with points work?
Scan the QR at the counter and confirm. Your points cover whatever they can, your card quietly covers the rest, and you earn ULT back on the money portion. A 240.00 EGP bill with 180 points means just 60.00 EGP on your card — and 60 points earned back.
Can I really spend points earned at one brand somewhere else?
Yes — that's the whole point. Coffee points can buy pizza. Sneaker points can buy dessert. No silos.
Do my points expire?
No. Zero expiry games. Your balance sits there until you feel like spending it.
Can I send points to family or friends?
Yes. Pool points with family, or send some to a friend — give 250, get 250.

Money & security

Is my card safe?
Your card is tokenized — merchants get a stand-in code, never your real number. Connections are encrypted in transit, and you confirm every scan before any money moves.
What happens if I get a new phone?
Nothing bad. Your balance lives with your account, not your device — sign in on the new phone and pick up where you left off.

Brands & partners

Which brands accept ULT today?
40+ partners across food, cafés, bakery & sweets, retail and beauty — Crave, Qahwa, TBS, New Balance, NOLA and more, with new brands joining every month. Browse the full list.
I run a brand — how do I join?
Free to join, one QR at the counter, no hardware. Head to For Brands or email partners@ult.app.
